General Financial and Booking Terms, Traveller Cancellations, Refunds and Complaints

If you, as a traveller cancel your requested booking by raising a ticket and if the Operator declines your booking request due to non-availability, any pre-authorization to your credit card will be cancelled and/or any nominal amounts charged to your credit card in connection with the requested booking will be refunded within a commercially reasonable time (7-10 business days). You agree to pay a Deposit for any booking requested in connection with your Guiddoo Account to Guiddoo once such bookings are confirmed by the Operator. As soon as your booking is confirmed and you have received an email acknowledgement, your payment will become non-refundable. 100% of these costs will be forfeited if cancellation is made within 31 days to departure. Cancellation of permits will also result in the costs being 100% forfeited.

Neither Guiddoo nor the Operators offer or pay any discounts or refunds for unused or missed services which were unused or missed by the traveller due to no fault of Guiddoo, or the Operators, which shall include any expiry of the traveller's participation in the tour due to the traveller's own negligence, fault or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

All traveller complaints about their tour experience will be forward to the Operator's team. Guiddoo is committed to working with Operators to achieve the best level of service. If the response quality and/or response time of the Operator however, continue to fall below acceptable levels, Guiddoo reserves the right to remove the Operators' Listings from Guiddoo.com Marketplace, Mobile Apps, Affiliate websites and remove any Applications provided by us.

Unforeseen Circumstances, Operator Cancellations and Refunds

If an Operator cancels a confirmed booking made via the Services, (I) Guiddoo will make refunds of any Payment for such booking to the concerned Traveller within a commercially reasonable time of the cancellation and (II) the Traveller may receive communication from Guiddoo, such as an email containing alternative Listings and related information. If the Traveller wishes to request a booking from the alternative Listings, it will be treated like a new booking.

Cancellation in the Event of Inclement Weather

Certain Tours may be weather-dependent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of inclement weather, the Operator has the sole discretion to decide whether the weather conditions will lead to cancellation of the Tour or Activity. As an Operator, if you feel the need to cancel a Tour or Activity due to inclement weather, you must contact Guiddoo as well as the Traveller at the earliest. The Operator and the Traveller may choose to reschedule the Tour or Activity for another date, subject to the Traveller's consent. If rescheduling is not possible, as a Traveller, please contact Guiddoo to help us assist you in finding a non-weather-dependent Tour or Activity as replacement. For clarity, in the event the alternative Tour or Activity is higher priced than the former, you may be responsible for payment of any difference in price. In the event the alternative Tour or Activity is of a lower price, you may be eligible to a refund for the difference. As a Traveller, if you have contacted Guiddoo and Guiddoo is unable to find you a replacement Tour or Activity, Guiddoo may refund the payment for such booking to you within a commercially reasonable time of the cancellation.
